Sub-class: Berzerker Actually, it is not a sub-class in the conventional sense, but just ideas on a group of cards for Warrior that could be tie together in a theme, which in this case, a fearsome Berserker. The main thematic mechanic would be HP-based-damage-building. It gets more aggressive the lower your HP is. Combined with some HP fuel heavy attacks for this powerhouse. Some cards idea. Bloodlust Trait | Duration 3 When your HP is less than 50% of max, you gain +2 Damage to your attacks. If less than 25%, you gain +4. ......................................................................................................... Bloodrage Trait | Duration 2 You gain +1 Damage each time you are attacked. Encumber 1. ......................................................................................................... Vengeance Attack | Slash | 3 Damages | 1 Range Deals additional damage equal to the last damage you received ......................................................................................................... Fearful Warscream Attack | Sonic | 1 Damages | 4 Range Target suffers Encumber 2, Duration 1. Catnip. ......................................................................................................... Heavy Swing Attack | Slash | 12 Damages | 1 Range When this card does damage, it does 6 damages to you. ......................................................................................................... Wild Swing Attack | Slash | 10 Damages | 1 Range Easy to Block 3. ......................................................................................................... Crushing Stance Boost All you attack gain Penetrating for a turn, and you gain Halt. ......................................................................................................... This could add on to the regular Warrior / Priest arsenals. But could also see a Claw weapon type be added that include more of it. But it could still be mix and sprinkle with other cards as well. You could make a Berzerker build out of it (and can be sold as a package deal for pizza), but could also combine with other Warrior / Priest builds. The overall theme is a heavy damage dealer that have little regard for its own HP. A fearful warrior that no one want to stand toe-to-toe with. The draw back its that it would still lack the range and mobility (unless have boost in other equipments) and are easier to block.
I like the idea of encouraging players to risk running around with low HP instead of just immediately healing up, but I'm not sure how some of those suggested cards would actually work within the current mechanics. Bloodrage / Vengeance particularly would require keeping an ongoing counter on them that might be awkward UI-wise.
As OneMoreNameless said not all the card ideas would work out of the box without new mechanics but that's not an issue with the idea. I'd be very happy to see some zerking in future content
The +4 is too OP when combined with Impenetrable Nimbus. These two is hard to track. Maybe combine those two and make it like "Trait | Duration 2 | Every time you are attacked, counter with your oldest attack card if possible.". And counter mean you use it and discard it, not free use. It has possible since melee can be range 2, which you can't counter with a range 1 attack. And yes, you can't counter a range 2 attack if your oldest attack card is range 1 while your second oldest card is range 2. Fix the wording according to existing cards. Pretty sure you mean Assist or Trait.
