If I'm correct in piecing these together: The default Human Wizard figure (bearded fellow in blue robes) has no sound files. In AI Amy's multiplayer party, Mingolborn Pain-bringer is a male Elf but uses female sound files. In AI Melvin's multiplayer party, one female Dwarf uses male sound files and one male Dwarf uses female sound files. I've lost track of which, because I don't fight Melvin as often.
All this time later . . . I don't know about multiplayer characters as I've just been doing single-player for now. However, the default Human Wizard figure still has no sound files. Moreso, it seems that all Kobolds in Diamonds of the Kobolds and The White Star have lost their sound files. Sounds for the ones in the tutorial levels are just fine.
