The wiki doesn't let you search for equipment by expansion (though it does let you do this for cards), so I thought I ask you folks: what new stuff is worth my money? Which are the best new items in your opinion? I thinking mostly about the high rarity cards, there isn't usually any shortage of commons and uncommons, but I'd like to hear about anything you think is notable. Randimar's has a Shieldripper for me this week. It's... I'm undecided. I don't like competitive multi player so it seems of lessor use to me, but I think it'd be a great weapon to get through all those parries (assuming people still use those). Edit: Feh. Well a little more searching has proven me wrong about sorting items by expansion. Here's a list of all the new stuff: http://wiki.cardhuntria.com/wiki/Category:Attack_of_the_Artifacts_Item Still, I'd like to hear about any that you think are particularly good.
Rare/Epic/Legendary Sliding Boots Staff Of The Fire God White Flame Superb Trickery Common/Uncommon Twisting Shield Hotglass Staff Turquoise Boots
Sacrificial Axe just dropped for me. This is definitely a better trait-cycler for priests than vamp blade.
I've used mine a bit. It's pretty sweet. What to look out for: Anything with Elvish Trickery. It's that good.
Is Quickness Aura any good? I'm not sold, but if it is than Necalli Cap may be worth a look. The Trog Melter has been a good addition to firestorm builds. It pretty much does what the name says. Before I'd avoid the trog levels, they were beatable but annoying, they're a lot easier with a couple of these on your mages. Blackeye Hammer could be a solid low cost warrior item. Punishing strikes are good. At rare it should be relatively available, though I'm not sure it'll unseat either The Strongarm or Blazing Shortsword due to the token cost.
I immediately equipped Sliding Boots to my wizard after it dropped for me. It is the best pair of boots for a wizard, in my opinion, unless you are playing firestorm.
Would have been the best pair of boots for a firestorm wizard, too, if they hadn't nerfed Sparkling Cloth Armor during testing ... *grumble grumble*
Diamond Mocassins - I've come to like it, though I don't have much use for it. Thin Sparkling Cloak - this is amazing on wizards, and a huge boon for SP drawback-only quests Bloodchopper - is hilarious, even if it's overpriced and highly situational Risky Trickery - the best Elven Trickery item I've got; no tokens, 1 manageable trait, and flank move Phantom Pain - like Ixtli Amulet, this also has 2x Illusory Barrier; I need more of that card so I can make a troll build Yolotli Armor - Barbed Plate + Enchanted Harness = hilarity Ritual Straps - this is my go-to no-token divine armor at the moment; 3 useful cards at no cost Spellstripper Relic - I haven't used it yet, but eventually I will given the prevalence of firestorm and frenzy at the moment Purging Mace - this is basically a Spellstripper Relic that can fill in your divine weapon slot, might be nice for a purge-bot
Let me add some priest's stuff: Huetotl's Firebrand - very similar to St. Olf's Fiery Pike, better if you have one major token available. Spear Of The Cozqui - Nice divine weapon. Good atacks and good heals, you can even use those Triple Heals to get rid of enemy's blocks. Red Shaman's Blade - another good divine weapon for two minor tokens. Cintxotl Mail - two very good armors and another Triple Heals Also, if you care about Wicked Waterways: Golden Wings and Eixtl's Winged Mail
