Skin color variation in character models

I would have titled this "racial variation," but, well, we're using "race" differently in this game.

Anyway. If you look at card art with humans, you'll find skin color variation: Lunging Hack and Cowardly Attack are the quickest non-Caucasian examples I can find. This is generally something the audience expects to see (though yet more would be possible).

The playable models don't vary much at all. I see one buyable Dwarf Priest figure with a skin shade dark enough to be noticed in the faded image.

I thought I'd mention this because it's the sort of thing that's relatively easy to consider before full release. The above cards demonstrate that skin color variation exists in Cardhuntria, so at a minimum gamers will wonder "where they all went" when it comes to hiring folks in a tavern.

I imagine this could be for a few reasons on being expected demographic and the second being once you ad past the norm everyone wants in. So you have people asking where is my asian elf mage, where is my african american dwarf wizard, where is my slightly tanned blonde human warrior. You probably get the point just my guess tho.

  3. As long as they are making new portraits to fill out the clothing store they may as well make some with interesting skin colors.
