Should Mindless Battlerage trigger on own death? Visual issue with winning the level

Facing the Ogre Bruisers in the first battle of the Lair of the Rose Dragon (is this module a reference to the classic Dungeons & Dragons arcade game or no?), I got two of them standing next to each other with very little health left. One had Mindless Battlerage active. I killed that one, and the card triggered on the Ogre's own death, causing it to deal damage to the other one, which killed it too. I then won the level.

As has been mentioned before, the visual state froze immediately upon victory (cards in mid-flight as they exit the enemy hand and so on). But this means I have a screen where the Ogre I personally killed is still standing there looking at me, even as the other one has been taken off the board, and the "Ogre Bruisers" bar at the top of the screen shows a tombstone graphic. This looks kinda funny.

Yeah, it probably shouldn't do that. I'll log it.

Just now, in the third battle of the same adventure, I killed another Ogre with Mindless Battlerage. Both my character and another Ogre (Clubber Zang) stood by. The card triggered on the Ogre's own death, then the log reported "Ogre Bruiser reacts! Mindless Battlerage damaged Clubber Zang." However, it did NOT deal any damage, and it also didn't say anything about my character.

Edit: Just now, Clubber Zang successfully damaged me upon its own death. I realized that Clumsy might have been active on the last one. However, such would only explain part of the matter: I and Clubber Zang were bracketing the first Ogre, and even if it were facing Clubber Zang alone (which I don't think it was), this doesn't explain the lack of actual damage.

You know how Festering Guts can win you an entire battle if it explodes in a horde of enemies? Just like the above "Mindless Battlerage triggered upon the Ogre's own death, killing the last enemy in the battle, but keeping the first-to-die model on the map even into the victory sequence" visual issue, the dead zombie with Festering Guts will remain on the map even into the victory sequence. All other dead models go away, and, in this case, I won the entire Return to Woodhome adventure (I was on the last fight), but this Festering Zombie stayed and stared at me. With soulless eyes.

Mindless Battlerage inconsistent triggering (Room=Battle ROSE 1429,RoomID=7478).
2 instances of MBR triggering. 1st instance triggered the damage to adjacent chars, 2nd instance did not.

Was going to ask the same thing about mindless battle rage (MBR). I killed an Ogre which triggered its MBR. The damage killed a minion next him which caused the ogre to do another MBR. Luckily I had enough health to survive both.

    Wow.

    . . .

Maybe they should prevent it happening for Mindless Battlerage, but create some new card called "Death Throes." The equivalent of Festering Guts but for melee.

That seems like a good solution. MBR for other character deaths, but when the ogre dies use something like you suggested. I like it.
