My friend got hit an entangling attack (Which doesn't remove armor) and Rusty Armor failed to block it. Horned Plates blocked the attack. He discards Horned Plates but keeps rusty armor.
Here is what happened: The enemy attacked Roll failed for rusty armor so nothing happens Roll succeeded for horned plates' armor so the damage was reduced and the card is discarded(it doesn't say keep which prevents it from discarding). No more armor rolls because the damage is reduced to 0 already.
