Run the Gauntlet Part 3 - 'Endgame'

This scenario is intended to be the final part of my multi-part adventure, 'Run the Gauntlet'. Card conservation, careful planning and patience are still required, perhaps even more so than in the others. A certain point must be held on the board for two turns in order to win - this is made difficult by the constant movement and threats of the Astral Guardians, so one must not be too eager to claim the prize quickly and therefore endanger their life!

    Pre-Battle Text
Holloborn walks into the final room. Already his eyes are scanning the surroundings for signs of danger - he has become accustomed to the constant peril provided in the Gauntlet, and is ready for the final challenge. But, oh, what a soothing sight meets his troubled mind! A shining, glistening pile of gold pieces, reflecting the torchlight around the chamber like rays of sun, permeating through the gloom. Joy floods his vision - he has nearly made it to the end! Yet suddenly, out of the shadowy corners of the room comes an abysmal cacophony of grinding stone and metal, as six menacing statues are bathed in a purple light and slide forward towards him! This will be the ultimate test, Holloborn realises - can he evade these animated chess pieces, take the treasure and live to tell the tale?

    Post-Battle Text
Having grabbed as much treasure as he could hold, Holloborn sprints up the final set of stairs at the far side of the room. Grabbing hold tightly of the carved handles, he wrenches open the final doors to be met with - a brick wall. What is this?! Holloborn turns around, panic submerging his senses, and sees the Guardians approaching ever-closer. Perhaps this is the reason nobody has even beaten the Gauntlet - there is no escape, no way of winning, just the cruel face of death laughing at the final impassable barrier. Holloborn will become just another failed competitor, he realises, as he slumps to the floor in defeat. The last sound he hears is a fatal blast charging up, his transportation into the afterlife...

    Notes
No victory points are awarded for killing any of the Guardians - I doubt that anyone would manage to, anyway. The two Guardians of Mist near the start of the board may not be necessary, so let me know what you think.

    Tips
    • Patience is the key! Don't be afraid to temporarily move off the Victory terrain if the Guardians are about to blast you.
    • Quick reactions can be useful - perhaps not so much as in the other parts of Run the Gauntlet, though, as the only Magic or Projectile attacks played would be extremely damaging ones which you should avoid at all costs anyway.
    • Remember the range of the Guardian blast attacks, as you may be able to stand out of range and be safe if necessary.

This may actually be bad advice, considering the existence of Rook Big Blast and Bishop Big Blast.

True, but both the Guardian of Motes and Guardian of Shadow only have one Big Blast card in their deck. Compare this to the eight normal Blast cards they have, and the likelihood of Big Blast coming up is quite low.

(*You misses a part out at the end*)
But if you they do draw it, you are screwed.
