I understand my quest progress is saved in between battles. But if I quit before starting the next battle, it still counts as a loss, I think, because when continuing it shows me a button that says "Replay, 2 more attempts" or something like that.
Ew, I really hope it doesn't count it a loss. It never used to do that. Does the "attempts" total actually change, though? If you do this repeatedly, does it really use up your attempts? If not, then it's mercifully just a visual problem.
It doesnt. I quit in between battles in single player all the time, which doesnt count as a loss as long as the next battle actually started.
OK, now I can't replicate it anymore. It seemed to occur once at the third battle. But maybe I was just confused .
