Hello everyone I have two questions if you please. First question is about the power tokens, when do we actually start finding these things? I have several items that require them but have yet to come across any. The second question is about armor, I have noticed my armor will be work 4 damage block have a +5 to the die roll and I'll roll a 5 and it will fail and I get hit hard. I notice the enemy will have some armor worse than mine and roll a 2 or 3 and block all my damage. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this or am I just being paranoid? Thanks for taking the time to read my questions.

About the power tokens i think you will get your first one around level 9 or 10.
About the armor, you will need to be more specific with the situations you are describing, alot of cards can affect those.

Well as far as the armor thing goes basically I notice the monsters block my shots with much lower die rolls. I have to roll 5's and sixes in order to block damage and my opponents block my attacks with consistently lower rolls of 3's and 4's. I am wondering maybe I am wrong on how the armor works? Does the number in the mid left of the armor card that shows something like 5+ or 6+ what you have to roll or is it whats added to your roll?

There are (roughly speaking) two types of armor...reliable, light armor and risky, heavier armor. The first type has a low number necessary to activate, but doesn't block much damage (think Reliable Hide). Heavy armor with higher damage soak tends to have higher activation number, so it won't work as often. There are, of course, exceptions, like the armor Trogs often wear which has high soak and relatively low activation value, but won't block from behind.

The other thing is that some armors add to the die rolls for any armor that character has. So an AI character might have that, roll low, but the bonus takes it over the necessary value. I can't recall if any AI characters have that, but it's possible.

It's important not to confuse Blocks with Armors too. Blocks may have a low roll and will completely negate a cards effects, but it's discarded after the first successful use and won't activate from behind.

You can see the number you need in the lower left of each card. Mouseover all parts of the card (like these little symbols) and they'll explain themselves.

Power tokens show up on the schedule listed here:

In other words, level 7. Have fun!
