Pardon if this has been discussed - I searched and couldn't find it. Some cards heal the opponent. I realize it's part of card balance, but I'm not sure if it isn't just a side-effect of game design when block cards are spent to block opponent's heal spells (the ones that affect both teams). I personally don't mind the intricacy, and will look for opportunities to abuse it by minor healing an opponent with a block card, but it does feel illogical and counter-intuitive.
I wouldn't call it that illogical... The enemy is casting an unknown spell, clearly targetting you. You have a shield. Would you try to block?
I wouldn't call it illogical; Quite the opposite, you can always expect block cards to be triggered against enemy cards, no matter what the card, for better or for worse. That's a clear pattern, and clever (or just lucky) players are able to take advantage of it.
