Hi all, I just wanted to check opinions on whether this is working as intended before I report it as a bug. My priest was attacked by the Man-at-Arms (see screenshot) and Jump Back triggered. The roll succeeded but my priest did not move. I assume that this is because the square immediately behind her is in the Armoured Dog's zone of control. However, if I had played a movement card myself I would have been able to move one square back (but not the full two squares). It looks like since I can't complete the full movement distance legally the whole of the Move 2 effect is cancelled rather than being truncated into a Move 1 effect. Am I correct and would you say this is working as intended? Thanks, Assussanni
"Back" is in relation to your character's facing, so you would move in the direction of the dog was if the dog was not there.
Oh, I see. My brain interpreted it as jumping directly back from the attacker, in the same manner as if the attack had slide back 2. The move back 2 on the card does make literal sense, it just wasn't how I expected it to work from the name of the card and the picture I had in my head. Thank you for the clear explanation!
Slide back is on the attacker, so it slides them back away from the attacker. Move back is on the defender so it's in relation to them. Is confusing though.
