I only discovered this wonderful and highly addictive game yesterday. I have played up to about level 4. I would like to create a second party (all humans) and try the game that way as well. Is this allowed? What's the best way to start this? Does completing a dungeon by one party makeup count for all of them? In other words, one a dungeon is exhausted for one group, is this true of all? Is this the same whether or not I am a member?
Yes, you can have as many characters as you want. All dungeons are locked on the daily 24 timer when beaten - so counts for all parties,
You pick up additional characters at the inn for 10 gold, there's another inn that show up later on that allows you ti pick up lvl 10 characters for 100 gold. You also get extra characters from the MP decks. Then it's just a matter of swapping them out in your keep. Use the store and retrieve functions to keep copies of your different parties.
Around level four or five Gary tells you about multi-player (MP) and gives you a free Adventurer MP Starter which includes three more characters you can also use in the campaign. Also, if you buy any more MP Starters for 50 pizza, those three man parties count as Level 1 characters you can rename/use in the campaign as well along with all the gear they come with. So you may want to hold off on buying more characters for gold until then.
