At the moment, I can log into the game fine, and I can go to the Dwarf-whatever inn fine, but any other location, if I go there I get a blank white screen, and have to refresh my browser and log in again. I've tested it on 2 PCs and get the exact same behaviour. It was working fine as little as 2 hours ago when I played for an hour, no problems. Can anyone else play OK right now?
Getting this, too. Stupid me posted it in the Questions and Feedback forum. There's a stacktrace in the console when you get to the whitescreen. Seems to be an item display issue. A little more info on this - I can go to a Tavern or Costume shop and not experience the whitescreen. Shops and keeps and adventures still whitescreen, however.
Yes, I found the same thing - but of course those locations don't display your items, so that would seem to bverify that it's an item related issue.
Thought it was something I did. But ya, shops are busted for me as well. Edit: Adventures all white screen for me as well.
It is fixed. Interestingly. one of my items (a helmet) has had one of its cards changed, but I assume that was the latest release and not a bug
Fair enough. It was an interesting cxhange though. The old card was armor 3 4+ (no keep) and +3 to all attacks until you used it. Useful, but iut would only fire a couple of times at most until it got used as armor and discarded. The new one is a 4/1 attack card (so you can keep it and never choose to use it) and the benefit of keeping it in your hand is it DOUBLES all other attacks - ouch!
So what you're telling me is I need to check my gear to see if Horned Plates has been replaced with All Out Attack. Fortunately, no: I get a lot of use out of that armor. I try to get a lot of use out of All Out Attack, too; but for it to be worthwhile, first I must draw an attack that does more than 4 damage. No, sometimes the random numbers don't go in my favor, either.
Is there any chance for a list of changed items? if you have a list of them that you could drop without working your already busy self too hard
Yes, those are the cards. It changed for me. And an hour or so ago, I used it to do a 20 point violent overswing to win a desperate battle I was about to lose. It was awesome
I logged in fine, went shopping, checked some of the changed gear... lost connection. Now when I connect I get an empty map. :/ I did notice my warrior was wearing a robe on his head though. (Crown of the Geomancers became Robes of the Geomancers).
I'm also without any locations on my map. I badgered a few console commands to see if they would help, but sadly not. Firefox shoots me this message when trying to visit the world map from the multiplayer lobby. TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at com.cardhunter.pcclient::WorldScreen/refreshLocations()[D:\cardhunter\code\pcclient\com\cardhunter\pcclient\WorldScreen.as:103] at com.cardhunter.pcclient::ScreenRoot/showWorldScreen()[D:\cardhunter\code\pcclient\com\cardhunter\pcclient\ScreenRoot.mxml:658] at com.cardhunter.pcclient::Lobby/onAdventureButton()[D:\cardhunter\code\pcclient\com\cardhunter\pcclient\Lobby.mxml:130] at com.cardhunter.pcclient::Lobby/__adventureButton_click()[D:\cardhunter\code\pcclient\com\cardhunter\pcclient\Lobby.mxml:219]
I've restarted the server after getting what information I could out of it and enabling some extra debugging. With any luck it will break again soon and we can get more information about what happened.
