I just reached level 15 and received my first major power token for each character. It placed this in their respective class skill slots. When I swapped in a minor power slot item, it still kept the gold one in that spot. Can I use that gold token anywhere? If so, how do I move it? If not, I suggest that that's not very intuitive design seeing as how I was free to use the blue tokens anywhere. Also, is it just coincidence that I don't have a single class skill item that requires a gold token? Does every item type have a version of gold/blue, gold, blue/blue, blue,tokenless? Thanks.
Yes, you can move it anywhere although it can sadly be a bit annoying to do at the moment. You just need to unequip the item that is currently using it (in this case the class skill), equip the item that you wish to use (which will probably result in a gold token being swapped for a blue one), then re-equip the original item (which should now take the free blue token). It would be nice if the character builder was a bit more intelligent in swapping tokens about. It's probably on Blue Manchu's list of things to do but it hadn't been improved the last time I checked.
