I'm not sure if anyone has encountered or is guilty of this, but why to some players get so angry when losing to elves?? I run an all elven team and one player went as far as to call me an Orlando sucking so and so... I was then inspired to name my party after LOTR actors haha
Or womanhood. Some people seem personally insulted when losing to anyone, and will hurl whatever epithet is handiest in retaliation.
I get upset if I lose to any team. I'm an equal-opportunity offendee. No hurling, though. That would be uncouth.
I've seen more people rage at losing to dwarves than at losing to elves. Maybe just because more people lose to dwarves than to elves. Personally if I lose to a team of all elves I congratulate my opponent. Elves suck.
But how can people rage against dwarves when nearly everyone is using dwarves lol. Although I have seen a shift back toward humans.
Elves are deemed as sub-optimal, so when you lose it can feel to that person as if they lost to someone playing a handicap. However, this is not the case, elves are entirely viable. Still, at least they get emotional about it. I find losing brings on an intense wave of total apathy.
