I'm not sure if this is not in for a balance reason or something like that. But i would personally love to be able to check line of sight from a square i plan to move to before doing so. Any chance for this to be implemented? I know its not that big of a deal most of the time but i have found my self really frustrated when i try to move so i can attack in to a crocked path and the one square i cant hit is the one i wanted.
Too bad, could you please tell is how we can tell if we see something from a square or not ? Is it just like stairs or drawing a line and everything that is at least half covered is declared as LOS or how is it handled ?
You trace a line from the centre of one square to the other. If the line goes through any blocked terrain, LOS is blocked.
Standard d&d i know but its just something i would like especially at long range with a lot of weaving obstacles it can be hard to tell but you are correct that you can tell on your own
