Was playing on the woefully short Oozeball timer (10 min isn't enough). I timed out 20 seconds ahead of my opponent with several stars remaining to be nabbed. What was weird, though, was that I got the "you're out of time" message... but not the defeat notice. I could still play cards. So I did—I clicked on a Run and then the game became nonresponsiveish. I could chat with my opponent in the battle chat but I couldn't manipulate my cards. The targeting options for my move card didn't show up, either; the game just froze at the point where I chose to play Run. It seemed the only way out was to manually concede the game. Before doing so I nabbed this, which seemed like the latest and most relevant piece of the battle log: I then clicked Menu -> Resign Battle and confirmed that I wanted to resign. The battle chat disappeared, but I remain in the game I was in. I could no longer send chats in the battle chat, but could chat in the lobby chat. I tried Menu -> Resign Battle again, still nothing. I'm going to reload my browser window.
What? The timer was supposed to be increased to 15 min already! Was this patch left out of the release? Seems critical to fix this to me.
Maybe the time discrepancy is the culprit here? Maybe the match duration needs to be changed to two or more places in the code/data? One being forgotten might lead to some of the code thinking the match is over and some other part to disagree, which might lead to this kind of behaviour. Just a wild guess.
