So after playing this game for a few hours I posted in the first impressions thread where I A. Love the game but felt a bit confused about power tokens (and had bought some items with power tokens on them) and I realize now having played a bit longer and now at level 8 that I had to play a bit longer to get some questions answered and learn more about the game. In light of that I feel that it would be good to post a kind of ongoing post or thread about my experiences as I progress through the game and learn the mechanics a bit better. At this point I've invested a lot more time into the game. I've done a bit more of the campaign and a bit of PVP as well. First I will say that PVP really opened my eyes to the mechanics of this game and playing against a few 1000+ ranked opponents definitely taught me a thing or two to bring into the campaign. For those of you who have not touched the multi-player at all I highly recommend doing so. It will really help you to discover new strategies and really give you ideas for synergies between items. It's also a very big way to gain items. So much in fact that I feel a bit overwhelmed by how many items I've amassed and am having trouble managing it all. I know you can sort the items and that's basically what I do but it'd be nice to have a bit more control (unless there's something I'm missing here) than the basic sort buttons at the top. Maybe creating a search field to display only items with a particular effect or a particular card on it? I also agree with others who wish for more options in inventory management such as locking particular items or being able to store them some where. In the latter I think having treasure chests in your Keep would be a great way to facilitate this. It would fit the theme of the game and enable players to stash the items they really want to save while freeing up their inventory. Thinking about the flow of the game as well, I feel like the multiplayer tutorial should come before the opening of the level 6 shop and rarities shop. In my experience these shops opened before the MP demo did and, only being told to "not buy any items with power tokens" left me feeling somewhat confused about how power tokens work and asking "well why shouldn't I?". I understand it now thanks to the MP demo so I'd really like to see that come up before or perhaps at the same time that these two shops open. Then when I do visit them I know what I'm looking at instead of being given some ominous warning about not buying these pretty looking items now. I'll post an update once I've gotten a bit further ahead however that won't be for some time as I'll be out of town for a week (I swear I'm going to go through withdrawals). So far I think this is a fantastic game and I'm really enjoying it so far =).
