So this is me just rambling and what I think the Mushroom Warriors come from. I think the Mushroom Warriors have 1 of 2 possible origins.

First one is that its a fungus that was in contact with magical property that gave it intelligence. Over time it grew and as changing its shape to grow and give it the power to break away from its roots and be able to walk. When the warrior grows too big to move at a decent rate it breaks itself off thus spawning a mini version of itsself which has its own mind and grows.

The second possible way is that they started as a mind consuming fungus which takes hold of the person's mind. Once done the fungus grows on the skin and body untill there is no origin shape of the body left. At this point the mushroom warrior acts as a swarm for its goal thinking of nothing else, but achieving what it aims to do.

    What do you guys think?

I like to think the former, because if it's the latter, that makes them horrific.

As long as it wasn't a man coupling with a toadstool I'm fine and dandy with any theory!

What a consenting man and fungi do in the privacy of their home is none of our business and if they want to get married they should be able to.

  9. I imaging that it is a from people who have developed a fatal version of mucormycosis in which fungus grows on the brain much like your second option there SurgeonFish
