Hi, I've started getting a popup with Gary telling me to try multiplayer when I log in. When I entered the multiplayer lobby the first time I got a message that the Adventurer starter pack would be free, but it costs 40 pizza, which I don't have. Is there any way to disable the message from Gary on the world map?
I'm guessing you've already bought a pack before this patch (and Gary lacks the ability to check this)? I believe this is the situation for the most of us, as I and others have the same issue.
I haven't been in the multiplayer lobby before, so I haven't bought any starter pack. I've spent all my pizza on other things, but I can't remember having gotten free pizza earmarked for buying a PVP booster.
I patched this and it should be fixed now, i.e. Gary should stop bugging you after you visit the MP lobby at least once.
Saw Gary's offer today for free Adventurers starter party and it was tagged as such in the Starter Pack Store. After clicking the FREE - BUY link, connection issues caused a time out and it took awhile to resolve. When I returned to the store later today, the starter party is back to 40 pizza (and it wasn't added to my account). Should I consider this a bug? (I have no multiplayer parties available.)
This was an attempt to buy the starter party, so not yet. I eventually transferred money from the PayPal sandbox for more pizza (because I'd spent the opening amount on other things) and bought the Dwarf Warrior party. This is what my store options look like now.
I think you might have the characters but not in your party yet. If you go to the tournament keep, they might be off to the left of your MP party.
You're right, thanks. They're in the MP setup area. I was confused by one purchase disappearing from the store page and the starter party still showing as buyable.
