Card Hunter improvements: Melvin: Well, if you even consider yourself a GM, you would definitely fix even the most rudimentary of problems with this game. [QUESTION] - cannot uncancel a lunging hack once it is selected,(it is indeed considered melee, so having the option to cancel would be much appreciated). [SUGGESTIONS]: •find way to imitate hover for characters.( for example, have the user float up and down over the tile when in effect). •each board containing unique traits, such as frozen landscapes having slippery patches which pushes the character forward one more tile, from whichever direction the are coming from; Another could include -gates/fences/doorways or other walled terrain with npc's could break through when trapped in, in a specific scenario, such as having the war pigs trample bramble fences and player's rescuing neutral npc's by destroying barriers or gates. •Better inventory navigation, (the current scrolling mechanism for specific items is too sensitive, and makes finding even one category difficult.) •Better shop interface(sold items overbear shop items). •realizable or auto-size material and junk bags and/or easily accessible tabs. - assignable names, different color palettes and/or graphics. -Lets say I found a - a restart menu option, which begins the match over again without delay, in the campaign of course. Right now resigning takes a bit too long if you made a mistake you want to quickly redo. -divides in the story arc,(for instance in the "Throne of Stench" arc, as is mentioned in the opening module, the trogs could be involved in an absolute monarchy, and after taking down the ruling trog, he might give you the option of sparing his life, and allowing his civilized civilization to grow; in turn he might provide you with a new vendor, or other location of choice. Killing him instead would reward you with both a unique narrative, and a remarkably powerful item at the cost of the new location. Successive sessions might reflect this decision, by reconstructing the level based on which choice you made.
You can't cancel a lunging hack because the movement portion comes first, and you can't cancel movement. I understand that the devs are looking into changing it later, but for now, it's just something that you have to keep in mind. Also, on the subject of inventory management, have you tried clicking on a slot on a character sheet to sort only by items equippable in that slot? If you have and still found it cumbersome to view your items, that's different, but it does seem adequate to me. Being able to somehow filter by cards would be pretty nice, though, if anybody reads this. Sometimes I just want to find as much, say, spark cards as possible.
Try entering spark et c in the search field. That's usually pretty effective at showing all items with those cards.
