Morvin suicides on lava

    Morvin is so attached to his victory square in the Against The Cockroaches level, that if you turn it to lava he will stay there two turns and off himself. Maybe that is intentional, but it seems less sentient than even the slimes.

    Mentioning another "Morvin won't move out of lava."

    I was playing Morvin's Revenge. My characters were near Morvin's spawn point. Morvin was standing in the square that was the door's spawn point. Only one other cockroach was left, and he was a ways away from Morvin.

    I cast Hot Spot on Morvin (the door starting square) near the end of a turn. Morvin didn't move, though he may or may not have had move cards left at the end of that turn. He didn't move the next turn either and was killed by the lava.

    I think Morvin should be a really broken powergaming monstrosity, not an easy mid-level adventure. Make beating him an optional bragging right, not a required cakewalk.

    Give him a ton of the broken cards that were removed from the game, 100+ HP, monsters from all over the game...

    Or maybe just make a later adventure along these lines, called "Morvin's Revenge", and keep the current adventure as is.

    No, Morvin is fine the way he is; if anything Gary should make him weaker to encourage players to grind that module for loot. It's Melvelous who needs Fireball, Impenetrable Nimbus, Unholy Wellspring, Altruism, and be guarded by Mom's MP team.

    Oops! I think I got them confused. Melvelous is Melvin's module, Morvin is Gary's module. You're right, it's Melvelous who should be ridiculous, my mistake.

    I mean, isn't the Hand of Melvelous given for beating him? I know the item isn't super awesome for a legendary, but any mission that gives a legendary should at the very least be tough to beat.

    Hey, I happen to be a fan of the hand. Ranged vampire attacks are best kind of vamp attacks. And it's guaranteed? Didn't know that.

    I think it is a guaranteed drop, but I'm not 100% sure. A -lot- of people seem to have it though.

    The cleric's divine item legendaries are kind of eh in general. I think it will be more useful with the recent talented healer change. It just seems a little weak compared to some of the nice legendaries that give inspiring presence, etc.

    Don't think the hand is a 100% drop. No guarantees though!
