Since the recent update, my level 9 characters have disappeared and I am now at the point where I have to choose a new party. Is this a bug? What can I do about this?
How many characters should you have in total? Also, what exactly do you see in the deckbuilder? A completely blank roster? Or do you have some alternate characters (other than these level 9 characters you mention) who are now active in your roster? When looking at the deckbuilder, what happens when you drag the screen to the left? There should be inactive characters there. Having said that, a couple other things that could have prompted the confusion: One, have you been swapping back and forth between single-player and multiplayer? You are allowed to have your party set up differently in both places. Two, have you been using the Store/Retrieve functionality (to save parties)? Any chance you stored a "blank" party (or anything different from these level 9 characters you mention) and then retrieved it? If your characters are literally and completely gone, then that sounds like a horrible bug.
Thanks for the reply. The characters are completely gone... the game was acting like I have never played and it ran me through the first mission again. I only had three characters, so there are no others to choose from. I did sometimes play multiplayer, yet that is empty too. It looks like they are totally gone. Very disappointing.
Did you collect these characters and items during the beta? If so then yes, they will have been wiped when we launched the game on the 12th of September. To keep things fair for new players we cleared all the beta accounts before going live. We tried to be very clear and consistent in explaining that this would happen, however it's possible that we still didn't get this message to you. I'm very sorry, but if your characters were created during beta then yes, they are gone.
