Can you remember what you were doing prior to this? For example, did you join the ranked game queue, disconnect and then join again? Or did you perhaps join the queue, cancel and then join again? I suspect it didn't remove you from the queue at some stage and then you rejoined.
Prior to this i was in que got invited to a practice or what ever the other casual kind of game mode is. Left that game for some reason and then qued again. Since gabbek pointed out joining practice doesn't leave ranked que that was most likely it. The problem being that i could join ranked one more time after coming out of practice despite still being in the que.
