Hi there, I am not quite sure if this is intentional, a bug or simply wasn't noticed before so I am reporting it as a bug for now. Bug Report: --------------------------------------------------------- After setting the focus on the search input field in the inventory it won't loose the focus again. You have to leave the inventory screen and reenter it so that the default text "Enter search here" will be displayed again and the focus is not set. Why this is a Problem? Well as soon as the focus is set on the search field I cannot use the spacebar to open the cards on the several items. That is because I simply type space characters in the inputfield. Example: I am looking for cards with the burning effect. I type in the search field the keyword "burning". Now I'll get all the items with the specific effect. But I want to "highlight" the cards so I can read the effect. Therefore I mouseover the wanted Item and hit the spacebar. But instead of opening the Cards I simply tpye in the search field: "burning " which not only is not helpful when I try to read the effect but also causes the cards to disappear because there are no cards with this "new keyword". I know that the focus can be a pain in the a** in Actionscript. I am also aware that it can be simply a flash player and/or browser version Problem. You can just alt-tab and alt-tab back to lose focus. yh, agree tho ... there is no event listener for clearing focus. Personally, I'd prefer 'tab' to clear the textfield focus. But I doubt everyone feels the same and neither is it high on the devs list atm.
oh wow... now I am ashamed to call myself a developer... tabbing of course I've tried "esc", "enter", double-click, one-click and else but not the good ol' tab. ok, now it is a very minor bug. As long as their is such a simple solution like tabbing, I am happy. Sorry for the disturbance
Actually, just click on the drop-down box (that is used to select types of gear). As soon as you click on that (you don't need to select anything, just open it and close it again) the text search loses priority.
