Minions in Return to Astral Shrine

    In the first battle of Return to the Astral Shrine you fight 1x Guardians of Shadow, 1x Guardian of Motes, 1x Guardians of Motes (note singulars and plurals). The "Guardian" works as expected, but the two "Guardians" act like minions even though they're the only member of their group:

    Curiously, I could not reproduce this in the scenario editor.

    Okay, I've managed to finally reproduce it:

    Here's what I did:
    • The board has six spawn points for group 1 and one for group 2 (and none for my opponent).
    • In the scenario editor I assigned one Guardians of Mist to group 1 and two Guardians of Mists to group 2 (intentional mismatch). Note that I'm using the exact same monster template for both.
    • The game engine sees that group 1 has only one monster so chooses a random spawn point for Paag; group 2 has two characters but only one spawn point so Tuun gets the spawn point and {name of third Guardian} is tossed aside. Because each group only ended up with one monster in it, the game isn't displaying N/N in front of the name.
    • But the scenario editor said that group 2 has two members, so Tuun is a minion while Paag is not. (Also, Gary's victory stars are set to 1*1 + 2*1 = 3.)
    So this means that the scenario file for the first battle of Return to the Astral Shrine has more than one monster in groups 1 and 3, but only one spawn point for each.
