I don't know if it's just me. but when opponent is attacking one of my characters, the way i find out who is being attacked i look at the block/armor card that pops up. I then try to memorize who had this block/armor card in their posession. Then i look at the cards in my characters hands, but ofcourse the card being used to block/protect with is not in their hand. The result is that i end up being somewhat confused and frustrated. I think it could be made more obvious who in your party is being attacked. Make the highlight of the character more visible. Perhaps even throw some graphics in there telling the player that this character is being attacked. Spider tingle sense/manga drops of sweat or perhaps a thick coloured border around the character anything that stands out visually. I'm not saying this is what should be used, just giving an example I know this does not change the outcome of who will live and who will die. But i enjoy being able to understand what happens on screen. Imagine watching a soccer game where camera was focused on soccer players feet... Not very funny not being able to see who is who... Result is the same in the end though, you enjoying the visuals does not change outcome. Anyone else experiencing this? that short gap where you don't know who is being attacked?
Yes, yes, I experience the same. It would be nice to make it more clear who the opponent is targeting.
