I know that there's a chart with the percentage for the various rarities to drop (possibly also item-specific drops, I don't remember) Does anyone have a link to the loot tables? Thanks!
The devs have the loot tables, but we don't. Jarmo is trying to determine what they are in this thread. At the moment it only lists adventure level, item level, and item rarity. Neoncat just released some great utilities for tracking loot drops and converting item IDs to human readable form. This may lead to databases for specific items, but we don't have those yet as far as I know. Item Statistics in the wiki can help you guess at the probability of farming up an item of a given rarity and level. If you want 1 of 3 possible rares, your odds are pretty good. If you want 1 of 52, it will probably take a while. Note that the item level may be +/- 3 of the adventure level, and the perversity of the RNG plays havoc with all of this. Still, if you're going to look for something you have a better chance of success by looking where it might be found. If you're lucky you'll find what you want quickly. I'm not, and I don't, but I find other useful things along the way. This is probably more info than you wanted. Sorry. Good hunting to you!
Ooooo I'll have to hit Neoncat up for those tools, but yeah, this is exactly what I was thinking, of, Sir Veza thank you for the link and the info.
I am summoned! *whips code from utility belt* - how to strip treasure drop data from your verbose session logs - how to cross-reference data with the standard items table
The belt, of course. Cats are notoriously flighty and unreliable, and even I am not foolish enough to try to strap one on as an equipment item. If someone is foolish enough to try, I'd love to see the video.
