Let's pose some hypothetical situations in which Card Hunter was made by other developers and the changes that they would have added. Card Hunter for Mobile phones: *Only 1 slot to save your teams. More slots can be unlocked through purchasing them with "gems". *You can only try a module once per 24 hours if you are defeated. You can purchase the "Acceleration" feature for the module for 100 gems. *Unlock additional item slots for 50 gems each! *You have run out of turns! Ask your friends on facebook to send you extra turns, or pay 1,000 gems to continue.
You can't buy any new characters without gems, until you beat the whole campaign with 3 characters and get them to level 20. Then you can recruit a new batch. And, you can't use the old character's items either, they are locked to the old ones until you unlock that feature. If any of your characters die during any part of a module, you have to pay 500 gems to revive them for the next module, or play without them. Better yet, your priest has no Heal items, characters don't get their health back between levels and you have to buy "Greater Heals, Team Heals, or Minor Heals" for gems, or try and get through the whole module without dying.
Every turn, you draw 3 cards, instead of 2. But the highest quality card you draw is on a purple cushion, with a sheet of glass over it. You have to be in the Card Hunter Club to remove the glass—if you don't, the card is unusable. At the end of your turn, you discard it.
You can pay 10 gems/card each turn to keep any Harness armor cards you want, instead of discarding them. You can also pay 50 gems to re-roll any Parries that roll a 1.
Toughness and Impenetrable nimbus are no longer cards, but permanently available options one can activate for 10 gems / 5 gems. The other player can 'call', pay the same amount to purge / bypass.
*Multiplayer is accessible if you pay a "Season Pass" fee each month for $20 (or your regional equivalent). *In-game advertisements can be avoided by buying the "Golden Hunter Package" which only removes ones that obstruct your view of the game and keep the ones which show up on your map and inventory screens. The ads on the map and inventory screen cannot be removed since they have been optimized for advertisers (just like Xbox).
Every item is available for purchase using gems... first item is free... everytime you purchase an item with gems the cost for all items goes up by 1 gem. Legendary items are only available for purchase using gems. For only $9.69 a month (auto-renew on CC) you get a daily rare item free roll. For a mere 10 gem initiation fee you can play ante matches placing one of your legendary items up against another players. If you are not matched with another player you get to battle against Card-o-Tron 37 each with 37 hit points and every attack is Punishing, Obliterating or Almighty. Each CoT37 character starts with 1 perfect block and NEVER Firestorms itself.
Firestorm was given a damage buff and never lost its range, as Blue Manchu realized that Firestorm decks required HUGE amounts of legendaries they could sell for mad cash and they didn't give a kobold's loincloth about the players.
*Before starting your game as you log in, you must watch a 5 minute advertisement hocking the latest turd of a First Person Shooter and type the code that appears at the end in order to progress.
Blue Manchu isn't responsible for kobold loincloths or for... umm Loot Hunter or w/e the mobile version is called. You have to pay 5 gems to pass if any of your characters has more than 2 cards in hand. The AI can still pass at any time.
There are undroppable items for sale in Randimar's, that can be purchased with pizza only. I just bought a shield with 3x Perfect Block for 2000 pizza.
How many days does this shield last for? It seems like a premium item but it must expire after a while.
But I don't have that in MY Randimar's. Is there a code I can purchase to unlock these items? I mean Pewrfect Block does seem a little OP, but I want to get it before they nerf it.
