The chest shop screen opened and I heard the "game start" sound play; I do not know if the shop is "dominant" or if I simply clicked it a game tick or two after (before?) the game started. Interestingly, when I left the shop, the overworld chat had converted to the in-match one. After chatting with my opponent (who had not noticed anything odd) I tried restarting the game, but I had taken too long chatting and I lost due to inactivity.
