Card Hunter seems to never reconnect after accidental loss of internet connection. I think there needs to be a stay signed on option so we can reconnect or an option to sign in and try to reconnect though a button that says "retry connecting to server" or whatever after accidental internet loss of connectivity. I keep getting so pissed off that im going to win a board that ive played like five times then bam loss of internet for a moment and no chance to get where i left off.
I totally agree. My internet isn't the best and tends to hiccup and lose connection briefly sometimes. I have literally been moments away from finishing a campaign when boop my net hiccups and I have to start all over. It would be nice if when your net drops you can log in and have your match be right were you left off. This may be to difficult to do and is probably not at the top of the priority list but it is a nice thought.
Has there been any progress with this? The internet connection around here sometimes skips for a few seconds and every time any ongoing battle is cancelled, sometimes much to my dismay... :-/
Agreed that players should be able to reconnect to the game they were last in, at least in single player. I understand that in PVP you don't want to have players waiting around forever after their opponents disconnect, but in the campaign there's really no reason to penalize the players for an internet hiccup. Out of curiosity, does anyone know why this isn't already implemented? Is it that saving the game state is too much work for the devs?
Last I heard it was still being worked on - but yes, it was too much work to get in the game before it was released, so probably a matter of manpower. They always wanted it, however.
