I've only started playing today and I'm greatly enjoying the game. However I would love a way to turn off the irritating banter between Gary and Melvin. I've really had enough of listening to them, the dialog is so obnoxious.
I love the 4th wall break and think it fits extremely well with this game. Once you beat the campaign for the first time, they are gone though.
You can just click the dialoge away without reading it But eventually the story will progress somewhere too, won't be only obnoxious chatter
There's no switch you can flick, but if you really want them gone you could download the prompts file (http://live.cardhunter.com/data/gameplay/Prompts/Prompt.csv) edit them out in a spreadsheet program like excel (or just a text editor really) then use an http redirect plugin to load your local copy of the file.
Once you complete a module, you won't see any banter if you replay it. Many people, me included, have asked for a way to turn it back on once you play completely through the single-player campaign. This is the first request I've seen in the other direction. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
