I just got a beta key earlier today, and after completing the first adventure a shop appeared on the map and...nothing else. Gary didn't say anything, the only thing for sale at the shop was an axe (which I bought by selling the loot from the first adventure), I couldn't replay the first adventure, and there was nothing in the tavern. I ended up selecting "skip tutorial", which unlocked everything, so I could continue playing, but I don't know if this is a bug or if the rest of the tutorial just isn't implemented yet. EDIT: Now that I know this is a bug, I made a post on the bug forums with more details
It's all there. Gary totally told me to buy that axe. You're facing a tragic, tragic bug. Aside from the slight sarcasm in my tone of voice (inserted because I'm feeling whimsical this morning), it is indeed a bug.
