So as a result of the balance changes I find myself in need of more save slots to store parties for single player. Before I just had 5 or 6 slots for various firestorm builds that could handle the entire campaign, and some default beatdown teams capable of the same, and then had some slots left for experimental deck building. Then the level 18 AotA maps took away 3 of those slots but it was still just enough. But now that firestorm is no longer that interesting, I'd like to have dedicated parties stored for "groups" of maps as I see it, and there is just not enough room to do that. Let alone have alternative builds to switch things up. Add to that room for parties with which your are attempting quests, a nudie run save, some experimental stuff, empty party for quickchanging party members and what have you and 24 slots are just not nearly enough. Devs, please check how many people are using all their slots and if there are many, please double it up.
I've reached the limit as well. In addition to some of the cases boro mentioned, I have slots used for various RPG groups that I'm running through the campaign.
I can easily manage all adventure groups with quick adjustments to the basic build i saved up. It is like in the olden times, when we only had 6 slots. I have 9 slots left but i could use them up to make it all more comfortable. I might get lynched for this but further slots should be a payed service. Don´t misunderstand me, i want them too. But BM is no charity and i would pay pizza for further slots. It is not like in other micropayment games where you get a ridiculous low amount of saveslots in the first place.
I can't tell you how reassuring this discussion is - it wasn't that long ago that I accidentally discovered we had more than 6 slots, and I was wondering if those other slots had been there the whole time, and I had just failed to notice the scroll bar. Good to know that it really once was only 6. Since discovering the additional slots I have been filling them like mad, and have only 2 left empty. I would be delighted to have even more.
I can't believe I once functioned on only 6 slots. Honestly, I was stunned when they expanded from 6 to 24. I thought, How am I ever going to use all these??? Nowadays, I have a single "historic" MP build, six special builds for leagues (named accordingly), another six or seven ranked builds, then some toy builds (Peasant, Aristocat, Danger Wizards, FS, Crusher) along with a "blank" slot for counting items/making a new party. So yeah, it's starting to get full in there! In SP, I don't quite have everything squared away, but I do have nudie runs, specific level builds, certain level parties (level 5 is most useful!) and a blank slot but I have plenty of slots still. But you know what, there's little point giving out more slots. Some people will just fill them up, and some people will still continue to use 6 or less. Having 12 was a big enough improvement, let alone 24, and until there is a new mode (co-op!) where you really need to make special parties, you should be just fine .
