I've just hit this on the main server with a disconnecting opponent, then verified this by creating a game on the test server. If you hit your opponent, and his Sparkling Cloth Armor triggers, then he disconnects, the 2:30 timer doesn't work like it's supposed to, and your game continues until the full 20 minute timer expires. If I reload the game, it will resume the battle, complete with the 20 minute wait. If I decide not to rejoin the battle, I lose. I also notice that the "opponent is moving" message disappears after 2:30, and is replaced with "opponent is playing".
