Not long ago, I purchased a few new starting characters to level up, and I noticed that my Keep is starting to look pretty full. It got me to wondering, how many characters do most long-time players have total? Unless people disobey the tutorial and skip multiplayer everyone should have at least 6, but I figure there have to be some people out there who want to be able to run every possible permutation for their party have have the full set of 27. But then I realized that some people keep a few characters who aren't allowed to level past a certain point so they can more efficiently farm lower levels, and if people do both there could be players whose keeps have 30 or more. I'm only up to 18, myself. Anyone else care to weigh in with the population of their Keep?
I have 27, so that I can make a party of any combination of race/class. I am more MP focused though, so I've never bothered having separate level parties for farming or anything.
I've got 23 at the moment, with some combos overrepresented (twice I've accidentally leveled up my dwarf wizard party).
Let's see, let's see . . . yup, 15. That's one of each race/class combination plus the 6 extras needed to have three party members in race/class quests.
I only SP so these have worked just fine for me. (they're stored without any items) Since I've already done all the same race/class quests, I haven't stored those combinations. (now that I think of it, I really should create those)
32. 2 sets of level 4 wizards (dwarf and elf), but only 2 level 20 elf wizards. 3 of everything else. I had more from starting Nudie Runs at level 1, but deleted them because the roster got too cluttered.
I have 30 characters. I've bought many more (with the ready-made parties, for the items) and dismissed the extra ones. 3 of each race/class combination makes 27 + 3 extra level 4 dwarf wizards for low-level farming.
I currently have 22. I've been holding off on creating more since I haven't been playing much regularly since the birthday celebration. I still have my cat party to make! There's a few combinations I'm missing that I'd like to make to have one of each.
36 total. A full 27 that I haven't quite finished leveling up (they range from 17-21 with the majority in the 19-20 range) and then three sets of wizards: Lvl 4 elves, Lvl 4 dwarves and Lvl 6 humans.
Efficiency! I never actually did an accounting of the different quests to see what minimum number of characters would be needed to meet them all. And you edge out Sir Veza for most crowded Keep! I keep forgetting that it's even possible to get to level 21, now. I've been a bit slow to tackle the "new" level 18 adventures at all, let alone replay them enough to level up any of my level 20 characters.
