You know how there's cards with the Cone keyword, where the range of their effect spreads out in a triangle-like pattern? Well, those of you that have played the 3rd battle of Black Plume Mountain knows that there's a certain someone that has a certain card that has a Cone effect when he uses it, and I'm having trouble judging how a Cone move works for someone his size--2x2. Now, I read this, or at least, I read the secion about how terrain effects hit 2x2 figures, so, I thought that the radiating point for a 2x2 character using a Cone move would be Panel 1 in the image in the aforementioned section. However, I've found that this is not the case. What would be the area of effect for a 2x2 character using a Cone move?
It looks like you have to take the creature's line of sight (sum of the line of sight from all four squares the creature is on), you restrict the area up to the diagonals, you take range into account and you have the cone area of effect.
This appears to be correct. I tried it using Xanthy and 200 doors, and the second row of the cone was 6 wide (the game froze before it could reach the first row).
