Hi guys. Been playing for a bit now. What i notice is that the trolls im up against can use melee abilities( not throwing spear etc) that extend by 2-3 blocks. Is this correct because with my own warrior if I want to slash I have to stand next to the monsters. While the monsters are standing some distance from me they can hit me with melee attacks like stab, from 2-3 tiles away.
Yep, that's working as intended. The Stab attacks are range 2, so the Trogs will try to keep their distance from you, which can be tricky.
If im understanding the general gist of it, piercing attacks tend to have range and penetration, bludgeoning have higher base and consistent damage, and slashing has AoE ?
