I was wondering about how the free to play works in this game.I hope you can;t just buy the best equipment and when you buy the pack for $25 what do you get exactly ? new quests? and free money to spend? I love the game from what i've played but im just afraid it's play to win
You can't buy the best equipment. What you buy is another shot at a piece of equipment IF you buy the club membership. So, at the end of a battle you get 2 items and then another one if you're in the membership. The same at the end of an adventure. You get 4 items and then another one if you're in the membership. It's the item that appears on the pillow covered in glass. The $25 gets you all the locked adventures. 1 month in the club membership. Some free pizza, and 9 figures to customize your characters.
Hey Ado, welcome to the forums and the game. Hopefully we'll be able to answer any and all questions you might have. You can gain everything freely in the game - apart from the cosmetic costumes, and the 11 treasure hunts (they're optional adventures - sort of sidequests, with good loot). I'd say the game isn't pay to win, rather than "pay to get loot faster". Also, it depends on if you're interested in multi player, single player or both. You can get every item in the game withour paying, so there's no pay-gating or unique items et c. The Basic Edition gets you 1 month of club membership (an extra drop from every map of every adventure - and the maps that have a set rarity, like the treasure hunts, give an extra item of that rarity), all 11 Treasure Hunts unlocked (more content, not necessary - but great fun), and 9 costumes to switch your party members for. It's the 9 shown in the screenshot if you're wondering. And on top of that you get 100 pizza to spend as you wish. Edit: Snap!
