I copied the full logs too but forgot to paste until after I overwrote them with the screenshot and refreshed (it included what items my party was using and the battle and client queues, but nothing looked unusual). Refreshing my browser took me to the Aftermath screen and everything was fine.
I agree, that's a major issue of concern- If your screen doesn't get brightly flashing, blood-dripping, neon letters screaming "HELL MANTIS!!! DEVOURS!" as it kills you, itself, and your client, then really, it's just not being done right.
