The hardest challenge I have met so far is by far the level 7 Ice area with the bridge. The mixture of the bridge with enemies who have nigh impenetrable armor, and not having enough armor destruction/high penetration damage make the challenge extremely difficult. While not terrible it makes both this match, and the one directly after, not only difficult, as the mages with armor run ALL THE TIME and throw little zaps at you which while circumvented by armor, makes the match essentially running around the map for a long period of time both highly luck based/time oriented. IE I could see myself wanting to replay just about any map EXCEPT THIS ONE simply because it is literally more trouble then it is worth and feels more annoying and luck based on the draw of cards entirely as opposed to how your characters are placed/skills you choose.

I've seen the various advices to "make it easier" And attempted said strategies and the only one that has ever worked is load up on penetrating/attack enhancement cards and hope for the best. Trying to get behind those things is nigh impossible and is a terrible piece of advice for the sheer amount of luck in enemy movement and placement it requires.

That said the rest of the game seems relatively fair with things that are challenging and difficult, but not impossibly so.

Purchasing chests for 18 gold feels rewarding which is nice and something I was honestly concerned with considering that it could be considered a pay 2 win area, and the in game currency seems to reward you.

As far as the races Go I am under the impression that Humans are the single best race for the campaign mode. Their higher then dwarf mobility, but more HP then an elf make them simply too versatile to not have them be the superior race for the campaign. I have moments where I see Dwarfs would do better in one mission then humans, and I even see a few where elves would do better as well, A Dwarf Wizard and Dwarf Priest with a Human Warrior for example might also be a very reliable party for the campaign mode. Something I intend to test.

I find that the guaranteed epic item quests, mixed with the card hunter club is a nice incentive to spend money, but not a necessary one. The game makes you want to spend but does not leave me feeling like I needed to spend money to advance, I have gained quite a few very powerful equipment pieces without either the loot hunt quests or the card hunter bonus. Some even for ridiculously low prices in the in game shop where you buy items for gold.

This game has a very strong replay factor and I find myself enjoying going back through all the quests, the exception being the specific area 7 quest. The fact that you can transfer your gear sets over to your newer parties is a really nice feature and allows you to try many crazy combos for race/class for the various story missions.

I have dabbled in the pvp and find it entertaining and enjoyable, though a few players have a lot stronger cards then myself it is usually either over fast enough where I get killed, or I can resign when I realize I am clearly outmatched due to a bad luck of the draw, or I just can't compete.

Looking forward to seeing what levels 11-18 bring me in terms of difficulty and items I find.
