Is there a way to get gold beyond selling loot? Am I somehow forgetting to take gold when I win adventures? I have a fair smattering of items now, but don't want to sell off everything at RPG merchant prices just to pick up a few new things at the store to test out.
Nope, selling items is the only way to obtain gold. You probably have a handful of Treasure items now which can't be equipped, and are basically just there to be sold to merchants. You might also have some trash items, especially if you haven't sold anything.
My problem was selling too much stuff I think exchanging in usable cards at a 5:1 ratio just to test new things out meant I lost a lot of low-level gear really quickly.
