Dunno what exactly I can do to help track this down, but Flash memory usage appears to soar (e.g., 1.2 - 1.5 GB of memory) during farming sessions where I play lots of battles. It takes a couple of hours for this to happen, but it's fairly consistent. (FF, W8.1; haven't tried other browsers)
Darn. Quick question - has this issue just recently become worse, or do you not usually farm that hard?
It's been happening to me for months. I get memory management problems on YouTube as well, so I figured it was a flash problem, possibly related to my old computer/OS.
I mentioned this to Jon around the time of the reddit thing with Garfield. Flash always has had been memory consumption on Mac, at least, but CH has always been a huge hog for me no matter the browser...
@Farbs - Yeah, I don't usually farm / leave CH open for such an extended period. I don't think it's completely new, since I noticed a slight effect during previous farming runs - it would get up to around 800mb, which is enough for Flash to become a tiny bit laggy.
