First character lagging in xp?

Not really sure how this is possible - but my wizard and cleric are actually at the same amount of xp - just hit lvl 10 from doing a lvl 9 adventure, but my starting warrior, who was actually ahead, is now still at level 9 - with 2 xp to go. I've read some of the xp theorycrafting that Sir Knight was doing a bit back, but this sort of feels wrong somehow? First character used to be what - 2 adventures ahead in xp from the third, the second 1 adventure xp ahead of the third - and now the last two are equally ahead of the first. When levelling is turned into some mathemagical algorithm somewhere it stopped making sense to me!

(I have done some premium adventures which caused the warrior to be one level above a few of the later adventures, guess that's the reason - but passing someone in xp feels wonky design)

Well say you are doing equal level adventures to your main party your warrior gets 5 exp for each while your main party gets 10 or something like that ^^'

True, I guess it makes sense in some kind of mathematical way - but it doesn't really make sense gameplay wise I'd say. This way the warrior actually suffers rather than have the others catch up to him. Or maybe next adventure they'll all be equal. I'll have to remember to look!

Addendum: After yet another lvl 9 adventure, the warrior is now 2 experience ahead again. Guess xp gain only looks weird under certain occasions such as the one above.
