I simply want to send a word of encouragement and praise to the dev's. EttSC is a great expansion! I am throughly impressed and challenged by the new adventures. I found the new monsters presented unique situations that required varied tactics and a lot of fun! Hands down my favorite battle is number 3 from Throne of the Iron Men where you basically play Quick Draw! I think the replay ability is really high for all the new adventures. I am also impressed by the fact that despite presenting unique challenges they did not feel impossible hard. Over all it has been exciting to dig through new items, test them out, and fully kit out characters with fun cards. I hope this combined with the steam release are keeping your pockets full and there will be many more expansions in the future!

If anyone else would like to post positive feedback and encouragement about the new expansion do it here!

EttSC is great. I'm not the greatest fan of some if the new mechanics, but thematically?

Man, this has been soo well put together. Definitely a blast.

Can't even begin to speak about all the little references to the sci-fi genre across different media.

A true work of passion. Would definitely rate it 10/10

I agree that this expansion is great! I liked AotA, but to me EttSC is superior. I liked how this expansion seemed to focus more on presenting interesting new situations and puzzles over brute force toughness.

I had to restart that adventure where each character separated a few times, but at no point did it frustrate me. It was a great level! And some of the card effects did bleed over like Firestorm and Inspired Armor. Well done!

Another thing I liked doing was loading up my old groups, then heading over to Cuthbert's and having them "put on their space gear" to do the new content. :D The Elven Warrior is probably tied with the Dwarven Cleric for my favorites so far.

I wish you guys had more money so these could come out more often. But that's a little selfish since I only play SP. :) Superb job!

I love EttSC (the only thing that really sticks negativly out for me is how underwhelming Laser Whip is).
And yeah, AotA's balance and design felt a bit erratic, while EttSC feels compelling and steadily challenging [but not overwhelming] all the way through.

And some of the tactical elements introduced were pure genius, in making the missions feel distinct.

And hey, us PvE players have to stick together and encourage our end of things as well! :)

For me, the worst thing about EttSC is that I can't replay it with the dialogue.

The game is made richer and more engaging with the storyline from the character dialogue. Replaying it doesn't have quite as much life - and I actually missed a couple of line of the text because I accidentally clicked through it...

So, I'm slightly disappointed that I can't play the story again after the first time - and I hope that will be fixed in the future. Anyway, I think it's a sign of a high quality game when the worst part is that it ended.

(It's actually a problem with the game as a whole rather than just the expansion - but to me is feels like more of a problem with the expansion because the expansion is something I paid for!)

I've played through the expansion levels 4 times now in the past 2 weeks, once with a 1/1/1 Dwarf build, once with 3 Elf Warriors, once with 3 Human Priests and once with Dwarf Wiz/Wiz/Priest, and what I enjoyed a lot was that every one of those runs felt completely different and had different maps that gave me trouble, but none of them felt unfairly difficult. I could keep playing these modules over and over and they'd feel different and fun each time, I wouldn't dare say the same for the level 18 AotA expansion levels, once is enough for those, especially that damn dragon. :p

I really liked the story with Cardotron, Melvin causing it to go haywire and being too stubborn to admit it while Gary is forced to play along with it. The implementation of respawning Rumbling Mutants and Quick Draw was really clever, though I was rather disappointed that we never got to actually directly face off against Darius/Cardotron personally, especially after seeing him as a Famous Foe and on the cover of the module, we only get to fight Darius' champions and read how it somehow beat him afterwards, which made for a breather map in a difficult module and a somewhat unsatisfying climax. I don't think there was actually any real boss monster or even a large monster. Though I have to admit that Cardotron falling at the hands of Mom unplugging the electricity had me laughing. Mom is the true hero of EttSC!

I found the futuristic theme of the expansion much more enjoyable and coherent than the AotA expansion, it was really focused and exploring the spaceship, the Host and finally cyberspace seemed more thematic than going from prehistoric and Maztec monsters to animated weapons with a variety of minions. The music in the modules certainly added to the futuristic feeling!

The new mechanics that were added also added a lot to the game, playing around with Lasers and Radiation is a large gamble, but it's only I like taking, especially when you can get malfunctions to work in your favour. I do wonder if we'll see them on more items or whether this is the last we'll see of wacky futuristic stuff, since the expansion is a very large departure from regular Cardhuntrian culture and technology. (I can already see Aloyzo causing things to go haywire again when he gets his hands on Lasers.) I do hope we can get some sort of Laser Affinity Skill at some point at least, that would make playing Laser cards a lot more rewarding and less risky for people who don't like the randomness.

The new Mauve Manticore module that came with the expansion also has to be my favourite one so far, it's a lot less about luck and a lot more about tactics, and I hope we can see some MMs that use the new monsters added in the expansion!

All in all it's my favourite expansion of the two so far, it really rekindled my interest in CH and it even got some of my friends to start playing as a result. (The addition of Co-op was a great motivation for that as well) I'm excited to see more content in the future!
