Happened yesterday so this is a recollection i cant back with any data, but i was done with an adventure and loaded another, higher level party for the next one while in the loot screen of the one i just wrapped up. The loaded party was not certified for that wrapped up adventure and i couldn't leave the loot screen nor reload another party to get back to certified status. Instead i had to unequip the token-heavy items on 3 characters manually, then i was able to return to the map.
I've had that happen, but I thought I was able to load a lower level party to fix it. But yes, the certifier should be disabled once the adventure is complete.
