We haven't had a player-run contest recently, so I thought I might try to do one. This contest will focus on stories about original, player-created characters; BM characters can appear in the story, but it won't be about them. This thread is to see how much interest there is in such a contest. The judging will be done by forum poll (like the Stylish contest); I haven't talked to @Jon yet about potential prizes. First Option: Fanfiction Each participant will write a short story about one or more of their characters. I'll post them all at once, with the authors' names hidden until the voting is over. Second Option: Role-Playing Each participant would create a character, then we would bring them all together and they would take turns interacting with each other. It is possible to do this anonymously, but waiting for people's responses could cause it to take a long time (like a couple weeks) to complete.
I think both sound like great ideas! I can probably make some shortish sweetish fiction, and people can always use some shorter stories if they're interested in a quick read.
