Expired Certificate

Bought club membership for the first time in years today to try out the new content; can't login due to certificate expiry

Upon starting the game:


View Certificate:


Proceed Anyway:

 

I also can't play the game because of the expired certificate.

 

@timeracers provided a fix for this via standalone operation.

Delete (or move to a new folder) the files:
steam_api.dll
steam_api64.dll

(located in \Steam\steamapps\common\CardHunter )

It will bring you to the old "standard" login screen rather than the 5-slot version used with steam.

 

That doesn't work; it still gives security alert about the expired certificate and after that, login failed: session expired.
