You can select to play a move card that moves to the spot your character is currently standing in. The game will detect 0 net move and proceed to ask for new orientation. Naturally, the AI goes 1 further by selecting the same tile and the same orientation. btw, this concept is also known as wasting moves...a valid tactic in pvp.
