I suppose it is working correctly, but the text of the card states: If you end this move adjacent to an enemy, that enemy discards their oldest Attack card. That does work correctly, move next to an enemy, they lose an attack. However, if you move adjacent to two enemies, only one of them loses an attack card. It seems to me that if you have enough trickery to land adjacent to two enemies, they should both be fooled into losing an attack. Just a thought. Thanks. Merci. Domo Arigato.
Only one of the opponents dropped an attack, and the other one killed me with an attack. As they did not draw any cards, it must have been there from the start. EDIT: I will amend my statement by saying that it is quite possible that the enemy in question had two attacks; however, I only saw a card 'fall' from the hand one of the other one. No card visibly depleted from the other opponent. That's why I was confused.
Or did you hit them when they had a parry? Or were they able to draw a card w/Martyr's Blessing, or some other means?
The character in question was a dwarf warrior adjacent to a human wizard. I used Trickery to move to a square that was adjacent to them both. I saw a card 'fall' from the wizard, but not the warrior. I was then attacked by the wizard, after which I used my regular move card to get into a victory square. The warrior then moved next to me and used an attack. I never attacked, so there was no opportunity for them to gain a card through defending (Blessing, Toughness, etc.). I will admit that perhaps the card 'fell' from the dwarf quickly enough to where I didn't see it, but I cannot remember a card falling from the warrior, only the wizard. If it makes any difference, my facing when ending the move was towards the wizard, and I was not facing the warrior. However, the warrior was still in an adjacent square. Perhaps something to be looked at, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it....unless I find myself in a position to be adjacent to multiple enemies often, and this occurs again. Thanks for the suggestions so far.
Well, if I'm ever in a situation such as this again, and it fails again, I'll be sure to report back.
